TORONTO, ON, December 21, 2020.
Tidal today announced that it has closed the acquisition of B2B SaaS provider SaveOnClouds.com in an all cash deal. The acquisition fits Tidal’ FinOps strategy by adding a product offering that specifically provides practical and easy to use cloud cost optimization.
SaveOnClouds provides enterprises with 70% in savings on their AWS, Azure and Google cloud bills with user-friendly scheduling for non-production workloads and managed database instances. This solution is an instant fix to the Bill Shock experienced by many new enterprises adopting cloud computing, and is particularly fitting for customers who have embarked on a lift-shift-then-modernize cloud migration strategy, by providing savings that can be redirected to modernization initiatives
“Some businesses have executed a lift-and-shift-then-modernize cloud migration strategy early on, but have struggled to find the budget to complete the modernization part of the story.” said David Colebatch, CEO of Tidal. “Within three months of being in the cloud, businesses have all experienced Bill Shock. Today we are pleased to provide an easy to use, simple solution to immediately unlock savings and enable the modernization initiatives to begin.”
With support for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud IaaS and managed database instances, Save On Clouds is available for a free-trial today at Saver.
