Join Tidal for a full-day, hands-on cloud migration workshop at Carleton University in Ottawa. The workshop walks through the first three phases of a successful migration: Discovery, Assessment and Planning.
Participants will leave with practical assessment skills and a reusable Migration Process Kanban template. The agenda covers application inventory, database analysis, source-code review, risk identification and dependency mapping. Seats are limited and breakfast and lunch are included.

In this hands-on workshop, you will be exposed to several tools which illustrate what is required to make data-driven assessment decisions. You will practice application, database and source-code assessment techniques as well as risk assessment and identification of impediments.

The workshop is designed for cloud leads, enterprise architects and migration practitioners who want a practical introduction to Tidal’s application-centric approach. Attendees will practice building an inventory, scoring cloud readiness and identifying migration blockers using real-world scenarios. The Kanban template can be reused back at the office to keep migration work visible and aligned.
Workshops are limited to a small group to keep the day interactive. The morning focuses on discovery and inventory techniques, while the afternoon moves into assessment, dependency mapping and planning. By the end of the day, participants have a practical understanding of how to evaluate an application portfolio and communicate migration priorities to business and technical stakeholders.
